Hopper becomes effectively full around Amethyst+. I can’t benefit from upgrades such as Topaz Affinity since my hopper never clears and no Topaz Coins can count toward the upgrade buff.

Turns out there’s a nifty control UI to the hopper now. Upon tilting fully to the side, I’m able to dump the near-worthless coins in favor of the high-value ones I’ve unlocked. Cool feature, thanks.
Go into Options, and check Show Hopper Controls. Then, use the dot that appears to rotate it and dump your coins. You can then rotate it back to start collecting again.
In the top right, you have a cog wheel for options. You can enable Hopper Control, and use that to tip out content of the hopper, which allows you to restart your progress.

There is no limit right now. Well, the game will probably break if anything reaches e+308. (Not issuing a challenge lol)
There is a bug: I have 99 bronze coins. I then bought the bad at counting update but the bronze coins did not merge.

if you click on the drop coins button and drag off it. It will stay "clicked".
It's actually a toggle button now! :)
its hard to tell its a toggle right now. Needs some UI work to make it more clear when its on or off
Agree, I'll play with it. Maybe more glowy and pushed in when on, and dark when off.
